Clear AB Epoxy Resin Hard Ratio 3:1

Description

Sophie & Toffee AB Epoxy Resin are made with high-grade materials! The resin will cure fast with high transparency and low odour.
You will expect crystal clear transparency with little or no bubbles.

The mixing ratio for our AB Epoxy Resin is A:B = 3:1

What is the different with 3:1 and 2:1?

- 3:1 cures slower than 2:1, however this allows more time for the bubbles to disappear resulting in clearer finished products
- 3:1 is more suitable for bigger molds craft and thicker pieces
- 3:1 takes 24 hours to cure beautifully

Instructions:
- Use a weighing scale for better accuracy
- For colder climate, it will take a few days to fully cure.
- Stir and mix thoroughly for a few minutes and let it sit for a few minutes before pour. 

Safety things to note: Use this product in a well ventilated room, wear a mask and gloves while working with resin.

*** Important note ***

Please note that due to storage reasons, sometimes the newer batches of Epoxy resins even if they are within 6months old will turn slightly yellowish, because Singapore is a tropical Island and sunlight is totally unavoidable. It is usually the hardener that will turn yellow and this will not affect the structure or the integrity of the Epoxy resin and it will also not affect the curing process. Please avoid buying if this is an issue for you. 

Mixing ratio: 3:1

Project planning instruction steps: 

1) Take the weight of the empty silicone mold, write down somewhere. 
2) Zero your measuring scale with the silicone mold still on top of the scale
3) Pour water and fill the mold for the project desire. 
4) Take note of the weight of the water being poured into the mold
5) Example the weight of the water added into the mold is 80g, use 80g / 4 = 20g. Your epoxy 3:1 resin needed for the project would be Epoxy A = 60g, Epoxy B = 20g
